16 February-8 May 2012, exhibiton “La La La, Human Steps”, a selection from the Collection of the renowned Dutch Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam (visual arts and cultural heritage) in Istanbul Modern.

The exhibition is part of the activities in Turkey to celebrate the 400th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Netherland and Turkey.

Curated by Sjarel Ex, director of the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen.

The collection reflects on human relationships and human conditions such as, desire, failure, despair, curiosity, betrayal and confrontations. Featuring the works of 28 prominent artists from different countries “La La La, Human Steps” translates these themes at three levels:
